woah pawoo has a media tab on user profile pages like on twitter
I wonder if mastodon will ever have a plugin function like forum software of the olden days so that users can independently develop/use mods without messing with stuff so they can update their things without fear of breaking anything

not sure if this is a standard feature on mastodon but pawoo also has announcements on the post column
@sonotoridesu don't think so! would be neat as long as the instance admin didn't abuse it
@bitmap so far all I've seen from pawoo is basically "welcome" and "download our app"
it's a really good use of space that would otherwise be wasted
@sonotoridesu once you start writing long responses and stuff that space fills up pretty quickly but I know what you mean, yeah. most of the time it's a big empty space there
@bitmap I mean it could just be a headline with a link to a longer post like "planned downtime at ____ click for more details"
