I wonder if mastodon will ever have a plugin function like forum software of the olden days so that users can independently develop/use mods without messing with stuff so they can update their things without fear of breaking anything

@bitmap it'd be nice if it was a standard mastodon feature but not all servers are artist-centric so there may not be enough interest
@sonotoridesu yeah, idk if pixiv has made a pull request or are waiting to develop it a bit further or what but in general it seems like a solid feature

@bitmap so far all I've seen from pawoo is basically "welcome" and "download our app"
it's a really good use of space that would otherwise be wasted
@sonotoridesu once you start writing long responses and stuff that space fills up pretty quickly but I know what you mean, yeah. most of the time it's a big empty space there
